Carly started working as an assistant in a hair salon the summer she was 16. "I didn’t even have my driver’s license yet!" Her mom’s best friend, who is like a second mother to her, was the receptionist and manager at the salon and got her the job. She did this so she could drive Carly and help her make tips. Carly always had a passion for hair. It started with all of her Barbie's who had bob haircuts and eventually she would practice updos on all her closest friends. She taught herself to do foil highlighting and coloring by observing. She moved onto assisting and that's when she fell in madly in love with the industry. Carly went to college to study English for two years after high school, but continued to color all her dormmate’s hair in the community bathroom. She then decided to leave college to follow her true passion and officially get licensed for cosmetology. She never looked back and has been taking clients ever since!

Fun Fact: Carly did gymnastics for years and met her husband at the gym. She also has a brand new lab puppy named Eleanor.
